This is a detailed assessment of your hearing levels & hearing ability by a qualified Audiologist.

The hearing assessment will determine how we can help your hearing ability and this 45 minute appointment includes:

• Medical History questionnaire.
• Video Otoscopy - see your own ear health on the screen.
• Pure Tone Audiometry

Depending on your situation and particular issues we may also test:

• Tympanometry - check your ear drum and Middle ear health
• Otoacoustic Emissions (TEOAE or DPAOE) - Tests you inner ear hair cell function
• Speech in Noise Test - tests your ability to hear speech in background noise

After testing a full explanation of results and recommendations are made. Copies of the tests are available

All Audiology testing is carried out conforming to British Society of Audiology Recommended Procedures.
